Logistic and Production Planning Manager

Job Responsibilities
Tasks dividing according to processes
LP Department management
1. Planning, organizing, supervising and control activities of the department
2. Planning, organizing, and control working time of subordinates
3. Proper organization of work in terms of safety, environment and fire protection and permanent control in this area
4. Knowledge and obey the law needed for proper duties performance and knowledge of applicable procedures, instructions and other rules
5. Participation in the selection process for new employees
6. New employed induction, including task introduction, explanation regarding new responsibilities
7. Supporting subordinates’ professional development
8. Motivating employees to effectively job performance by keeping appropriate level of job satisfaction and commitment increasing
9. Fairly employees’ appraisal
10. Budget preparing and control
Finished goods and parts management
1. Implement to finalize the delivery condition (including payment, packaging, transportation) to the customers
2. Coordination of distribution to customers and standardize the procedure to arrange the shipments
3. Approval of deliveries to customer (direct invoice control)
4. Coordination of order the final products and parts according to the forecasts
5. Control of Discrepancy reports
6. Control of slow moving, death stock parts, FG etc.
7. Control stock-in/stock-out of imported and in-house products at the both external and internal warehouse in the FIFO queue
8. Implement inventory check Distribution process management.
Supervision and analyze of law regulations relating to import, shipments, custom and transport
1. Control the custom clearance in cooperation with forwarding company and custom clearance agency
2. Direct contact with the customers to settle troubles relating to the logistics (receiving claims, coordinate countermeasures)
3. Preparation of cost strategy for shipments, packing process. Price negotiations with suppliers.
Long terms production planning
1. Long terms production planning control 2. Initiating and management of production planning optymalization process
Preparing reports for Management Board
1. Preparing reports for Management about key LP data including: stock of finished goods, metal parts, explosives, information about cost, status of shipments and other LP data requested by Management.
2. Reporting of department and individual employees performance.
Management, co-ordination and participation within internal and external projects related to LP
1. Management, co-ordination and participation within internal and external projects related for LP.
Representing LP Department within company relations and with the customers contacts
1. Representing LP Department within company relations and with the customers contacts
2. Vistits at customers and suppliers, creation and supervision of contacts database of co-operating companies
Management of Kaizen and cost down activities within department
1. Management of Kaizen and cost down activities within department.
Job Requirements:
Education: University education (in Logistics area preferable)
Experience: Logistics function experience - about 5 years
Skills: Business English
