This is a worldwide leader in development and manufacture of sensing equipment such as measuring instruments, vision systems, laser markers, automation sensors and others.
Tasks:
As a technical support engineer you first receive a training to specialize within the wide company product range.
With that knowledge you are the key person and specialized contact person for sales representatives and customers. By email and phone you support them and answer inquiries concerning technical products, capabilities, specifications, applications and other. You analyze and troubleshoot. If required and necessary you assist the sales representative with your technical knowledge and expertise in a face to face customer meeting on the product range of our client.
You are also responsible for giving internal product training to new and current employees to insure that they have the necessary product knowledge.Being a specialist for a product line, you will also conduct market research.
Profile:
You dont need any experience. You can start career developent in this company. You will have lots of training !
You have a higher technical degree (bachelor or master) in a related specialism (electronics, electro mechanics and others). You are able to prioritize and have the ability to understand the needs of customers in an industrial automation industry. You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel). You speak English and preferably Dutch or French. Knowledge of other languages is always a plus.
