Position: General Director - Head of Sales in Europe - reporting to Japan HQ directly
Job description:
Main Tasks:
• Management of Key Account Managers of Europe
• Representation of all commodities to European Car Manufacturers in all belongings
• Acquisition of new profitable business incl. negotiations etc. AVS,Hose systems,Sound Proof,etc
• Coordinate and utilize worldwide footprint of Group companies for worldwide business development of European Car Manufacturers
• Responsible for functional Budget
• Creation and maintenance of sales plan
• Responsible for functional-roadmap
• Participation in Global RFQ meetings
• Development of a marketing- and customer strategy (market research incl. Market price analysis)
• Competetitor analysis
• Review of „Terms and Conditions“ of customer contracts in respect of: Terms of payment, logistics, packaging, warranties, quality, project costs, prototype costs etc..
• Responsible of monthly sales reporting
• Measuring and improvement of customer satisfaction
• Training of direct reports
• Understanding and involvement of warranty claims
Other tasks:
• Support of “Cost Reduction Tasks • Support of customer communication of factory plants (e.g. EDI, customer portals,...) • Overdue Receivable Management • Project presentations at customers together with project team Requirements: • competencies: • Significant understanding of economics • Understanding of relevant regulations (national and relevant international) • Negotiation skills in English and relevant local languages(German) • Longterm experience in sales and management in the automotive industries in international environment • Strong understanding in marketing processes and methods • Strong presentations skills • Work experience in Japanese company • Social/ emotional competencies: • Autonomous workstyle • Analytical problem solving attitude • Target orientated behaviour • Integrity and social behaviour • Skills to motivate other people • Strong communication skills • Respect of company regulations and laws • Organisational skills • Negotiation skills
