Key Account Manager for Ford in Europe
1. Tasks --
Main Tasks / Mission--
Management of Key Account in EU
Representation of group company to the account in all belongings
Acquisition of new profitable business incl. negotiations
Responsible for budget
Implementation of budgeted sales measures (raw material negotiations, APR, Cost Reduction)
Creation and maintenance of sales plan (LRP: long range sales plan)
Responsible for functional-roadmap (Development of a marketing- and customer strategy (market research incl. Market price analysis) Competitor analysis
Utilization of Investment profitability, RFQ (request for quotation), Customer’s road-map
Review Terms and Conditions of customer contracts in respect of: Terms of payment, logistics, packaging, warranties, quality, project costs, prototype costs etc.
Support of monthly reporting
Measuring and improvement of customer satisfaction
Training of direct reports
Understanding and negotiation of warranty claims
Use and respect of BIZ Case, RFQ, PEP, etc.
Have frequent business trips to Ford in Europe and build “good relationship”
--Secondary Tasks—
Support of CRT (cost reduction tasks) actions
Support of customer communication (e.g. EDI (electronic data interface), customer portals etc.)
Support of Overdue Receivable Management
Project presentations at customers together with project team
2. Requirements --
Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, Language Skills--
Master degree in Business or equivalent
Long term experience in sales and management in the automotive industry in an international environment
Significant understanding of economics
Understanding of relevant regulations (national and relevant international)
Strong understanding in marketing processes and methods
