Key Account Manager for Ford in Europe

 

1. Tasks --

Main Tasks / Mission--

 

 Management of Key Account in EU

 Representation of group company to the account in all belongings

 Acquisition of new profitable business incl. negotiations

 Responsible for budget

 Implementation of budgeted sales measures (raw material negotiations, APR, Cost Reduction)

 Creation and maintenance of sales plan (LRP: long range sales plan)

 Responsible for functional-roadmap (Development of a marketing- and customer strategy (market research incl. Market price analysis)  Competitor analysis

 Utilization of Investment profitability, RFQ (request for quotation), Customer’s road-map

 Review Terms and Conditions of customer contracts in respect of: Terms of payment, logistics, packaging, warranties, quality, project costs, prototype costs etc.

 Support of monthly reporting

 Measuring and improvement of customer satisfaction

 Training of direct reports

 Understanding and negotiation of warranty claims

 Use and respect of BIZ Case, RFQ, PEP, etc.

 Have frequent business trips to Ford in Europe and build “good relationship”

 

--Secondary Tasks—

 

 Support of CRT (cost reduction tasks) actions

 Support of customer communication (e.g. EDI (electronic data interface), customer portals etc.)

 Support of Overdue Receivable Management

 Project presentations at customers together with project team

 

2. Requirements --

 

Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, Language Skills--

 Master degree in Business or equivalent

 Long term experience in sales and management in the automotive industry in an international environment

 Significant understanding of economics

 Understanding of relevant regulations (national and relevant international)

 Strong understanding in marketing processes and methods
