Manufacturing Senior Manager
A global High-Tech Japanese Automotive company is currently looking for suitable candidates for the position of Manufacturing Senior Manager. This is a great opportunity for capable candidates, who wants to lead international team. Manufacturing Senior Manager
* Approves the budgets of the Planning and Manufacturing Sections. Guarantees that they are carried out
* Responsible for the final approval of production plans
* Responsible for correct communication between manufacturing sections, as well as between these sections and the rest of the company.
* Co-participates in creation of the long-term manufacturing strategy of the Company
* Sets targets for the department, and monitors and verifies the level of their achievement.
* Supervises the compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations in the department.
* Supports his/her subordinates in problem solving, and by means of a system.
* On basis of the company strategy, creates the personal standards of the department.
* Periodic evaluation of subordinates, Zero accidents.
* Employment, training plan, number of overtime hours corresponding with the budget.
Job dimensionsHuman: Manufacturing (Assembly) Section - 135 subordinates, Manufacturing (Subcomponents) Section —64 subordinates, Planning & IT Section -9 subordinates
Position structure: You will have 3 Managers under you: Manufacturing Assembly Manager, Manufacturing Sub-component Manager, Planning & IT Manager
Internal: The results of actions of the subordinate sections - production plan and carrying it out - determine the organization and the size of the company.
External: 3 external customers (Renault, Nissan) plus sales offices in several countries (ESBU-F, UK Sales)
* Education (level, major, specialization)Technical, university level (possibly economics or logistics)
* Experience (years and field)Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing (or logistics) division, including 3 years on a management position in the automotive trade. Documented experience in knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Specific knowledge (what kind?)I Knowledge of basic manufacturing issues (e g, press-forming, machining, die-casting, cold forming, plastic forming),
2. High negotiation, management and interpersonal skills,
3 High resistance to stress and ability to take decisions,
4. Ability of flexible approach to problems, but also of analytical thinking,
5. English - advanced level (spoken and written).
